Meet Creative Director: Julien Sabatier

Julien Sabatier is the Creative Director of the Dallas salon located in Highland Park Village. He trained in Paris and has been in the industry for over 15 years. 

In the morning he has a simple skin care routine that starts off with The Art of Shaving Facial Scrub with Peppermint Essential Oil. The scent is a great morning pick me up. His must-have Fekkai product is Brilliant Glossing Cream. It’s perfect to add a boost of extra shine. 

Even though Julien is settled in the United States his heart will always be in France. He loves old French movies with Gerard Depardieu and Jean Gabin and after work he frequents Toulouse Cafe and Bar for fine cuisine and a European atmosphere. 

He believes that fashion and hair styling are intertwined and reads Garance Doré’s blog regularly to keep up on current trends. Some of his favorite menswear designers are Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen and Prada. 

Overall he admires the European approach to life centered around hard work and family. C’est parfait!
