To create perfectly undone curls, follow this step-by-step tutorial in real time by Fekkai celebrity stylist Adir Abergel.

Before getting started:  It’s key to start with the right products for curly hair. Adir recommends hydrating the hair first with Fekkai’s new PrX Reparatives Intensive Fortifying Mask and for daily maintenance, use Fekkai Essential Shea Shampoo and Conditioner.

Step 1: The secret is to apply a leave-in conditioner on wet hair—Adir likes to use Perfectly Luscious Curls Curl Shaper Cream— and then let the hair air dry naturally before using any heat.

Step 2: Use a curling iron that matches the size of the natural curl of your hair. Do not open the clamp of the iron—wrap hair around the entire barrel of the iron. Go through hair section by section, defining only the curls that are not defined.

Step 3: Rub a thin coat of Brilliant Glossing Cream into hands—like you’re putting on hand cream—and wrap curls around finger for added definition.
